of South America

the DCD's second
recording travels through South America with special stops in Argentina
and Brazil. It was a winner at the 2002 Detroit Music Awards for "Outstanding
Classical Album." The CD of duets for guitar and flute highlight
two of the most important works of the twentieth century for this instrumentation,
"The History of Tango" by Astor Piazzolla, and "Suite Buenos
Aires" by Maximo Diego Pujol. Snapshots has been played on radio
stations across North America and the UK, and can regularly be heard on
the CBC and WRCJ. Recorded at the Tempermill in Ferndale, Michigan during
July, 2001.
