The DCD's third CD released April 2003 features the vocals of Abha Dearing, two time winner of "Outstanding Classical Vocalist" given by the Detroit Music Awards. On this album they trace 20'th century works from Spain, Argentina, and Brazil by composers such as Manuel De Falla, Enrique Granados, Joaquin Rodrigo, and Heitor Villa-Lobos. The album also features solo works for guitar by Maximo Diego Pujol, Francisco Tarrega and Jorge Morel. Recorded at Solid Sound Studio in Ann Arbor, Michigan in March 2003.
"...Steven's vigorous readings of pieces by the Brazilian composer, Jorge Morel, are among the album's instrumental delights. Seven Spanish Songs, by Manuel de Falla, are richly textured miniatures sung as passionate art songs by Abha."

The second CD by the DCD travels through the regions of South America with special stops in Argentina and Brazil. It was a winner at the 2003 Detroit Music Awards for "Outstanding Classical Album." The CD of duets for guitar and flute highlight two of the most important works of the twentieth century for this instrumentation, "The History of Tango" by Astor Piazzolla, and "Suite Buenos Aires" by Maximo Diego Pujol. Snapshots has been played on radio stations across North America and the UK, and can regularly be heard on the CBC and WDET. Recorded at the Tempermill in Ferndale, Michigan during July, 2001.
"...the luscious tone and breath control of Abha's flute commands attention. The Dearings create rapturous, dreamy effects in each of these beautiful melodies. You can feel the warmth of the tropics emanating from the stereo speakers."
Ted Shaw - The Windsor Star
"What makes the music sing is the Dearing's lovely tonal blend, secure phrasing and the way Steven's clean articulation and steady rhythm lays the foundation for Abha's warm approach to melody."

The first CD by the DCD is a potpourri of duets for flute and guitar. Recorded in Cleveland, Ohio in the winter of 1999 the CD features transcriptions by French Impressionists Faure, Satie, Ravel, and Bizet. Also featured is the debut recording of Wayne State composer James Lentini's "Fantasy for Flute and Guitar." Other highlights include works by Dowland, Paganini and Molino.
"...marvelous program of guitar and flute duets...there is a definite artistic dialogue
going on here and everything about the project boasts precision and
attention to detail. It is quite simply one of the most beautiful sound
recordings I have ever heard."
